Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and easy! I've had many types of sharpening jigs, file holders and power gadgets but always go back to freehand filing the blades and rakes on my Farm Boss. This tool is wonderful! Easy to get the right angle and it sharpens the blade and files down the rake at the same time to the perfect angle and level. No chatter when filing. Thanks to WranglerStar for doing a demo video!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective and easy to use I've seen these filing guides at the Dealers showrooms ,as curiosity got the best of me, started researching the reviews. As most of the reviews state its a great tool to revive a dull chain. I just started using the .325 model last week, very impressed with how quick it can sharpen a mediocre chain. After 40 years of sharping chains with everything from round files to carbide burrs, this is the best sharping device that I have ever used, for someone like me that spends a lot of time maintaining woodlots I highly recommend giving it a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easiest sharpener ever Recently picked up one of these and I'm glad I did. This is without a doubt the fastest and easiest sharpener Ive ever used. In less than ten minutes I was able to turn a dull, almost worn out 16" chain on an ancient MS 230 into nearly brand new. Very high quality files and almost impossible to screw up. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and fast to use I used to hate sharpening chains until I bought this sharpener last year. I read the complaints about the hard to understand directions but personally had no issue understanding,if you look at the pictures I found them to be pretty self explanatory. I have a expensive timberline sharpener but now only use this one, great to keep in the atv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tool I recently purchased the 2 in 1 file and have used it on both my 461 and my 362. The directions leave a little bit to be desired so, consequently, there is a bit of a learning curve with this file. The novice will have some difficulty in mastering it, but those who understand the basics of chain sharpening will master it quickly. The beauty of this tool is that it takes much of the guesswork out of the process in that the angles marked on the chain and the angles marked on the file coralate perfectly, and the rakers/depth gauge are "taken down" correctly. If you have difficulty mastering this tool, may I suggest going to YouTube where some helpful videos can be found. Further, ensure you purchase the correct size file for your particular chain: the 2-1 is not "one size fits all. Nice job, Stihl.
